Michael A. Randle
Michael A. Randle is the founder and guiding force of the 305 Street Band. As a former member of both the Florida A & M University Marching "100" Band and Busch Gardens Tampa's Mystic Sheiks of Morocco, Michael really knows what it takes to entertain a crowd! In 2003 he and his fellow Marching "100" Alumnus, Donald Hylor Jr., co-founded the Miami HEAT Street Band. The success of that band and numerous other ventures served as catalysts for Michael's ultimate vision, the 305 Street Band. The 305 Street Band is the perfect combination of High Energy Choreography, Outstanding Musicianship and a Diverse Catalogue of Music. Michael is certain that this talented group of Entertainers will bring the party to any audience!

Jean Vilpin, Jr.
Assistant Director
From Miami, Fl, Jean Vilpin is a man of multiple talents. Born on Miami Beach and raised in Little Haiti, Jean is a trumpet player, musical arranger, educator, Music producer & engineer. He is alumn of FAMU and was apart of the famed Marching "100" Jay Vilpin has been a longtime trumpet player for the 305 Street Band and toured around the United States in 2017 with Drumline Live! He also did a brief tour in Canada and Alaska playing the blues with B.B. King’s All Star Band.
Sofia Alves Da Silva
Assistant to the Directors
Sofia is a versatile trumpeter with vast experience in both classical and
contemporary music. Her goal is to make an impact on her community as one of the leading female Latin American figures of the region. Sofia began her formal music studies in Pembroke Pines, Florida at Somerset Academy Charter School. After graduating in 2014, she attended Florida International University (FIU), where she studied trumpet under the instruction of Jim Hacker. During her time there, she performed with several groups such as the University Brass Choir, Wind Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra. In the summer of 2018, Sofia graduated from FIU with her Bachelor’s in Music. She is currently working towards her Master’s in Trumpet
Performance at FIU in hopes of continuing to grow as a performer. In 2015, Sofia proudly marched with the Boston Crusaders Drum & Bugle Corps and performed alongside the Boston Pops & Symphony Orchestra during her tour across the continental United States. She returned to the group in 2017 to play lead trumpet. Sofia plays at different venues in South Florida with local bands and brass ensembles from all kinds of genres including ska, funk, and baroque music. Sofia has performed with Grammy Award winning band Ozomatli, and with local groups such as the The Big Skandal, The Alhambra Orchestra, P.R.A.T.O. , and the 305 Street Band. She teaches in the South Florida area, and has taught schools that include Hialeah Gardens High School, along with Somerset Academy and Cypress Bay High School, where she currently teaches music, marching, and gives private lessons.

An eccentric visionary whose creative perspective is never off tempo. Born in Miami and son to a FAMU Marching 100 alumnus, music has always been in the blood of this percussionist, while a passion for art and design were developed early in his youth. Following the ideals of so many before him, he is determined to spread greatness and touch the lives of many.

Emily Bloch is a South Florida based freelance journalist. A drummer since she was seven years old, Bloch has played in multiple rock bands and participated in her high school drumline. She was also a member of STRYKE Percussion for its 2010 and 2011 seasons.
She's expected to graduate from Florida Atlantic University in December of 2016 with her bachelor's degree in multimedia journalism. Bloch contributes to publications including Broward New Times and has held positions such as social media coordinator for a financial news website. This is her fourth season drumming and working with the 305 Street Band.
